As the fastest-growing self-storage provider, the client needed an integrated system to manage multifaceted work orders, real-time analytics, and financial data tracking for their expanding network of facilities. Manual processes impeded agility, significantly burdened staff, and risked human error. The client envisioned a digital transformation that capitalized on mobile capabilities, providing a self-service model for vendors and internal personnel alike. By evolving from patchwork solutions to a robust, cloud-native architecture, they aimed to enhance tenant experiences, streamline back-office tasks, and improve reliability of information flow—all while laying the groundwork to monetize their SaaS offering for work order management.

The Solution
Successive Digital engineered a SaaS-based solution for work order and facility management, deploying key components on Azure Kubernetes Services. Containerized microservices, orchestrated with Docker and Kubernetes, provided a highly scalable and maintainable infrastructure. We developed a Super Admin Web App for centralized oversight, plus a Client-Side Web and Mobile App for vendor admins and personnel, respectively. Together, these integrated platforms automated scheduling, real-time job tracking, and facility updates. An end-to-end analytics feature tracked performance across sites, allowing data-driven decision-making. This unified approach replaced siloed, manual tasks with automated workflows, elevating employee productivity and drastically reducing operational complexity.

We modularized core functions—such as company, user, facility, and job administration—into separate microservices, each with a RESTful API.
