Client & Business Challenges
In the highly competitive telecommunications industry, Nokia required a modern, user-friendly SaaS platform to visualize and manage network usage effectively. Their existing framework, based on an outdated cappuccino architecture, suffered from sluggish performance and disruptive data distribution across more than 200 network points. Nokia’s telecommunication partners needed a comprehensive dashboard to analyze call drops, connectivity, and overall network performance, but the legacy system’s complex UI and inefficient data handling led to long response times and increased maintenance costs. To remain competitive and support its global clientele, Nokia sought to revamp its data visualization capabilities, ensuring seamless integration, robust security, and an engaging user experience.

The Solution
Successive Digital engineered an advanced network visualization platform by modernizing Nokia’s existing system with a multi-cloud strategy and robust front-end technologies. We implemented Software-Defined Networking (SDN) and SD-WAN to streamline network communication, while leveraging tools such as React, D3.js, JBoss, Rechart, and Material UI to build an immersive, user-driven UI. The solution involved segregating, filtering, and processing data from over 200 network points using more than 300 protocols, all secured via a comprehensive firewall and cloud infrastructure. This enabled dynamic, interactive graphs, charts, and reports that provided in-depth analytical insights, replacing the old, sluggish UI with a responsive and efficient system.

- Modernized Tech Stack
We replaced the outdated cappuccino framework with a modern tech stack, integrating React and D3.js for dynamic visualizations and Material UI for a sleek, user-friendly interface. This transformation streamlined data processing, enabling rapid rendering of complex network metrics and ensuring that every micro-byte of data was securely managed through an advanced multi-cloud strategy.
- Data Segregation & Processing
To manage the massive influx of data from over 200 network points, we implemented advanced data filtering and segregation techniques. Our solution adhered to over 300 data protocols, ensuring that raw data was efficiently processed, structured, and transformed into actionable insights. This approach drastically improved response times and enabled real-time reporting for Nokia’s network partners.
- Interactive Dashboard & Security
We developed a compelling, interactive dashboard that presented multi-function graphs, charts, and reports using Rechart and D3.js. Enhanced with automated security measures and integrated within a robust cloud infrastructure, the dashboard delivered in-depth analytical understanding while maintaining a responsive and engaging user experience that surpassed the capabilities of Nokia’s previous system.
